THE JARVIS JUMBULANCE JOURNEYS ON .

The Jarvis Group of Harpenden continues its support for local good causes having recently agreed to sponsor the The Jumbulance Trust via an initiative by the Harpenden Village Rotary Club.

The Jumbulance Trust, based in Wheathampstead, has three specialist coach-cum-ambulances adapted for use by the disabled and elderly. The vehicle featured operates in the Home Counties and will give these special people the opportunity to go on day outings which would be otherwise impossible.

The Jumbulance is equipped with:

• lift for easy access
• spacious internal toilet/washroom
• water heater for hot drinks
• emergency medical equipment
• provision for securing stretcher beds and/or wheelchairs.

Some 600 people, many of whom have not had a day out for months or even years, together with their carers, will benefit each year from using the Jarvis Jumbulance.
