We recently designed and built new Group headquarters in Harpenden. This gave us the opportunity to install state-of-the-art IT equipment.

This sophisticated equipment facilitates the implementation of information and telecommunications systems and helps us to achieve the greatest potential for our objectives.

IT links

This IT investment enabled us to install the infrastructure to link our sites to the head office computer, which provides a fast flow of information. All sites use the latest version of Microsoft Project Management to provide programmes and other information.

We regularly receive and send drawings to our supply chain partners by using CAD facility. We are also able to provide our clients with a link to our account package, which enables us to offer an open-book accounting facility. We have an in-house exchange server which handles all email traffic, plus broadband connection to the internet.

IT Security

We have carried out a comprehensive business risk assessment and the recommendations arising have been incorporated into the design of both our new corporate headquarters building and our computer and telephone installations. Our Chairman and Chief Executive, David Jump, is on the Members' Panel of the Constructing Excellence IT Construction Forum, 'COMIT' (Construction Opportunities for Mobile IT).
