One of the top talking points in Harpenden is the giant crane, standing proudly over the high street. “It’s for the Foresters, a £15m project for Jarvis Homes”, explains Mike Peters, MD of Jarvis Homes. “We’re creating 19 apartments, three houses, offices, a community centre and a car park”. The scheme will be completed in March 2012, with Jarvis Homes working in collaboration with Jarvis M&E and Jarvis Contracting. Seven apartments are sold already. Says Mike Peters, “It’s an outstanding location, and the quality is exemplary. We’re expecting most of the homes to be sold off-plan.”
