Jarvis Contracting, part of Jarvis Group Ltd, is a successful building contracting company based in Harpenden.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic contracts manager, living and working within a 30 mile radius of the Home Counties, to handle contracts from £1m to £8m in value within the healthcare, education, housing, commercial and retail sectors in the Northern Home Counties, North London and the South Midlands.
Your responsibilities will include complete construction management from contract award. You will lead and motivate the project team to deliver the contract within programme and budget while ensuring that quality, health and safety and company procedures are adhered to. Additionally you will liaise with clients’ consultants to ensure the project runs smoothly, and develop an on-site client focused approach.
You must have appropriate qualifications.
The successful applicant will be self motivated and enthusiastic, and have a professional approach combined with an ability to lead a team.
