Jarvis Group

As a well-established local contractor and one of the largest private employers in the area, we take seriously our engagement with the local community, both within the town in which our offices are located and the locations of each of our projects. We strive to be good neighbours and fully support the Considerate Constructors programme.

Work experience is supported by our 7 CITB Construction Ambassadors, and can be provided either on site or at our headquarters. We try to support our staffs’ family members and local colleges, leading to us offering permanent employment to a number of the students. Where possible and with the client’s consent, we aim to maximise the employment and training opportunities on each project and form links with local community initiatives.

Scholarship

I have much to thank Jarvis for during my university life. Amongst my fondest memories of university will forever be the night shortly before Christmas 2014 that I received the call informing me that I had been selected for the Centenary Scholarship, It was truly a surprise and a great privilege.

As this was my final year and I have received my confirmed marks. I can say with great pride that I will be graduating from my Music Technology BSc course with first class honours.'
