Free Reflective Armbands for Schools

This winter, Jarvis Contracting is helping local primary schools reduce the likelihood of children being involved in road accidents by providing a number of free reflective armbands for their pupils.

Steve Cook, Managing Director of Jarvis Contracting, says: 'As a local employer we take our community responsibilities very seriously and are currently supporting local schools in an endeavour to reduce the number of child road accidents.'

Steve continues: 'Current road accident statistics show that around one third of accidents are associated with motorists “failing to look or notice” and every year almost 9000 children are killed or seriously injured on Britain's roads.'

Jarvis Contracting has built strong partnerships with many schools throughout Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire, helping them to achieve high quality learning facilities through the provision of building & maintenance services.
